Whitewater development weekend
Service Description
Long weekend of coaching provided by Progressive kayaking Ireland set in the wonderful playground of Snowdonia Wales. 1st August- 3rd August Total cost €600 These trips are turnkey and all costs apart from Food and refreshments are included. 👉Ferry 👉Transport from Dublin+ port and back 👉Accommodation in stunning Llangollen 👉Whitewater kayak Trip on the infamous river Dee 👉Expert coaching 👉Video analysis feedback 👉High resolution action pictures 👉Post course development strategies 👉Guaranteed Craic There is no planning on your part, book in, turn up and have the best weekend ever 🚀 Bookings are taken on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Once the deposit is paid, payment plans can be arranged to suit either group or individual needs. The courses are Grade 3 so participants must be of L3 standard at the time of the trip with a reasonably solid roll, access to your own equipment is essential and must be appropriate to the rivers, a rated whitewater BA and Helmet are essential. Don't worry if you feel you aren't at the standard right now - we can help with training plans on our courses over the winter ahead. The main days will be on the Afon Tryweryn, it's the Welsh national whitewater centre and purpose built for kayaking, rafting and much much more. Accommodation for Saturday and Sunday is in the stunning town of Llangollen, it has excellent amenities, we book a Victorian townhouse hostel in the centre with excellent access to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. We will provide all safety, fully qualified and sessions will be broken into groups of 4 people per coach Safety boaters will also be present for the weekend. Trips are dependent upon water releases which we will only know 1 week prior to departure, if a trip has to be amended we will be in contact and agree new dates or payment refunds. Schedule Depart: Dublin port Saturday 1st August - 1 am. Arrival: Holyhead port Saturday 1st August - 4am Tryweryn Course: Saturday 10am - 5pm Sunday 10am - 5pm River Dee Monday 11am - 3pm Late lunch at Tryweryn and a sneaky browse around Radical Rider shop Departure: Holyhead port - 8pm (Cabins or lounge can be arranged but additional cost would apply) Dublin port - 12am **Deposits and first payments are non‑refundable. The full balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the trip. If a cancellation occurs within 6 weeks of departure, the balance remains non‑refundable unless a replacement paddler is found.

To cancel or reschedule please contact us 24 hours in advance. Our experiences are subject to weather and river conditions, if we feel either is going to adversely affect the experience or make it unsafe we will be in contact to reschedule. For a session to run we need a minimum of 4 participants
